WHO WE ARE
Mactaggart Family & Partners (“MF&P”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller of personal data described in this notice.
Our registered office is at 2 Babmaes Street, London SW1Y 6HD.
Questions about this notice can be sent to [email protected].
WHO THIS NOTICE IS FOR
This notice covers personal data we process about:
- visitors to this website;
- investors, co-investors, beneficial owners and their representatives;
- counterparties, advisers, service providers and others we correspond with in the course of our business.
Why we process it, and our lawful basis
We process personal data to operate our business, manage relationships with investors and counterparties, communicate with you, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and operate this website.
Our lawful basis is one or more of: our legitimate interests in running our business; the performance of a contract with you or steps preparatory to one; and compliance with our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- our professional advisers (legal, tax, accounting, audit);
- regulators, tax authorities and other public bodies where required;
- service providers who help us operate our business, including IT, communications and productivity service providers (described further in Section 06).
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party marketing.
Use of artificial intelligence tools
We use Microsoft 365 Copilot and similar artificial intelligence tools in the course of our work — for example, to help draft and summarise documents, prepare reports, and analyse data. Personal data may be processed by these tools where it appears in the underlying documents or messages.
Microsoft 365 Copilot includes models from Microsoft and from Anthropic PBC (developer of the Claude model). Anthropic acts as a sub-processor of Microsoft. When the Anthropic model is used, the relevant content is processed in the United States; all other Copilot processing takes place within Microsoft’s UK and European infrastructure.
Personal data sent to these tools is not used to train the underlying models. No decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects are taken by AI tools alone — outputs are reviewed by a person before being acted upon.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom — including to the United States through our use of Microsoft 365 Copilot as described above — the transfer is made under appropriate safeguards under Article 46 UK GDPR, specifically the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, incorporated into our agreement with Microsoft.
Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are set.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this notice, and to comply with our legal, regulatory and tax obligations. Different categories of data are kept for different periods; we apply a retention schedule reflecting those requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights in respect of your personal data, including the right to ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to ask us to delete or restrict our use of your data in certain circumstances, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. If you remain dissatisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
